Lake District Wedding Videography & Photography

Hey, we’re Cath & Pete, and we own CPD Film and Cath Prescott Photography - we have the best job in the world!

Cath is a photographer first and foremost, but also a musician, runner, coffee drinker, and foodbank volunteer. Cath is solely responsible for the film editing, but does occasionally film too. She’s responsible for our social media and most of the communication as she loves that side of the planning!

Pete has been filming weddings for the last 10 years, and loves playing the guitar when he’s not doing the above. Pete does the majority of our filming, and also holds a drone licence.

Nothing gives us more pleasure than to be able to combine our passions to create beautiful films and still images that perfectly capture your wedding day.

Our style is cinematic; it's not 'old school', and there are no huge cameras! We film and photograph completely unobtrusively and capture the magic as it happens throughout the day.

We’re proud to say that our work has featured on the BBC, Channel 5, ITV, Buzzfeed, MTV, The Guardian, Cosmopolitan Online, and Good Housekeeping. Filming and photographing weddings is not just a job to us, it's passion and a vocation and we simply can't imagine doing anything else.

We’re based in Cumbria, near the Lake District, but cover the UK and World Wide.
