Victoria and Stuart got married on what could well have been (certainly in Southport) one of the warmest days of the year so far. Beautiful sunshine greeted Vicks, who looked stunning in her dress. Vicks and Stu's wedding, although organised by themselves, was kindly supported by the wonderful charity Gift of a Wedding, as Victoria has been diagnosed with a life-shortening cancer. Myself along with fellow photographer Alex Ford donated our services free of charge, via the charity. The ceremony was held at Southport Town Hall, followed by a church blessing at Kew Church, where Vicks and Stu are heavily involved with the work of the Scouts. The reception was an intimate gathering at the Pageant Pub, also in the Kew area of Southport. The children clearly have so much love for this wonderful couple, and the children mean the world to them. Not only did they provide a guard of honour for Victoria after their ceremony at Southport Town Hall, they gathered in front of the pub to proudly display a banner they had worked so hard to make for the new Mr and Mrs Eley.
Beautiful couple, and a wonderfully warm intimate wedding. Alex and I are very proud to have had the honour of photographing this very special day.
