Leonnie and Andy chose to get married at one of the most stunning venues I've ever had the pleasure of filming at - Mansfield Traquair in Edinburgh. I'd seen images on the website, but nothing prepared me for just how stunning the interior of this building is. The Mansfield Traquair is often described as Edinburgh's Sistine Chapel, and I can see why. The building took my breath away as soon as I entered it.
This was a slightly unusual wedding for me in that Leonnie's bridemaids booked and paid for a cinematographer as a present for her. Up until a couple of weeks before the wedding all the correspondence was with Danielle, until they gave her the news that she would have a film to remember their wedding by. I won't lie, I enjoyed the excitement of knowing I was a gift, and a surprise, and I'm very pleased it was a nice surprise!
Leonnie got ready at Well Court Hall, another absolutely stunning place. The sun was shining when I arrived, and the light was beautiful. The whole day continued to be characteristically spring-like, putting everyone in a fabulous mood. Well done Edinburgh for putting on the sunshine for this gorgeous couple. We had an absolutely fantastic day with you all.
Here are a few screen shots of Leonnie and Andy's day, and please do watch their preview film. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed filming it.
Wonderful to work alongside Cyprus-based photographers Beziique - such a lovely couple whose images are just beautiful.
